12/2/2017 Was an open house at this shop. It is a big wood-only shop. Really good sized. Run by Ward Bingham. This place took over when the Sawdust shop closed.

It is a community college woodshop with "open hours".

Details

  • Open Friday 6-10, Saturday 11-9, so just two days a week.
  • Costs 150/month for 4 week months, 187.50/month for 5 week months.
  • No storage of projects. You can glue something up on Friday night but you have to take it away on Saturday.

Equipment

  • A lot of the equipment is big old green stuff from the 1950's, but lovingly taken care of.
  • Three SawStop table saws
  • 4 floor standing lathes
  • 4 table top lathes
  • 24" planer
  • big jointer
  • Chop saw
  • Several router tables
  • reciprocating spindle sander
  • several band saws, one big enough to cut a 3' diameter wood burl.
  • Nice set of hand tools, well maintained
  • Good selection of hand power tools, well maintained
