They had some internal strife in the past that you'll see if you google them. They say they have moved beyond it and seem very open to feedback and suggestions.
Lack of rules makes it hard for new members to know what to expect or how to fit in. They may be changing that. They just started requiring people to take a class on using the laser to get access. They are looking to make the laser cutter badge activated.
They talk about converting another meeting room to expand the maker space. A second laser should be installed by January.
They have talked about putting a shipping container outside to use as a dirty shop (woodshop).
