MN Education Development

History

This pages, and the ones it links to, are a bit of our history that could be of interest to other makerspaces. This is how we organized (or tried to organize) our volunteer organization to boot strap our makerspace.

Purpose

Guide and implement our education program for members, teens, and the community. Balance access with revenue with our charitable mission.

Some responsibilities include

• Create Basic Operation and Safety Standard (BOSS) for each piece of equipment we bring online.
• Create a STEAM/STEM curricula for the summer classes.
• Create Project Classes.

Status

The team meets every week under the leadership of Regina Sakols.
