Deadnaming
I don't know what this means. Jschrempp (talk)
deadname is the birth name of a person who has since changed their name (especially a transgender person). Deadnaming is refusing to call a person by their name, only by their deadname.
Overall Policy
I think we should say we reserve the right to alter the policy at any time to meet our objectives. Jschrempp (talk)
Agreed. How about the below? Sbaker
The MakerNexus Board reserves the right to alter or amend the rules as it determines appropriate for the safety of its members.
Materials Move Around
I don't understand this: "Insure materials move around the facility and are stored in a safe and approved manner." Jschrempp (talk)
I found this in one of the Maker Ethics, and it seems to be from the Dept of Labor, Materials and Handling Guidelines. And what it means is a collection of activities people should avoid such as:
- Don't walk thru the maker space with something dangerous (acid, etc) that's easy to spill. Put a lid on it, etc.
- Don't store an acid in something it can eat thru sometime late at night when nobody is around. Keep it in an approved container.
