An Enterprise Reporting and Planning system (ERP) is software a business uses manage its operations. Maker Nexus uses a combination of software tools to provide service to members.

As explained at the member meeting, eight different tools are used to accomplish fourteen functions. In addition Maker Nexus also uses Slack, Trello, Zoom, Google Drive, and Github.

Maker Nexus is planning to replace many of these tools with Odoo, a business system developed in Belgium beginning in 2005. Odoo is open source and is available as cloud service.
