Welcome!
(Mission Statement) and (Overview)
The Basics
Maker Nexus is a community who also runs a makerspace. You buy a monthly membership to gain access to the shared space. You learn to use the tools provided and then use them to make things.
This handbook describes policies and procedures that keep the makerspace humming along. The principles on which they are founded are:
- Safety - in all senses of the word, we want a safe space to make in.
- Transparency - so you know how it's going and how you can participate.
- Community - so it's a place with friends to share your passions with.
